Creative Director Jenny Tsang knows that wearing something comfortable will always make you feel good. It’s why she gravitates toward effortless silhouettes like open-back tops, shirt dresses, high-waisted shorts, and versatile shades. “Sunglasses not only look good [with any summer outfit], but they’re also the perfect accessory,” she says.

From a vintage-inspired aviator style to yellow-tinted lenses for a bit of color therapy, Sunglass Hut has teamed up with some of its favorite brands, including Ray-Ban, Versace, and Prada, on six limited-edition silhouettes in celebration of its 50th anniversary. Forever our destination for all things new and on-trend, Sunglass Hut has the styles we need to finally get into that summer dressing mindset.

Below, Tsang, who describes her style as “modern, minimal, and all about balancing feminine and masculine elements,” shows us how she styles three bold pairs from the collection for maximum impact. A little bit edgy, a little bit elegant, she shares her tips for what makes the coolest warm-weather looks.

With sunsets coming later and later, you need a pair of shades that can take you from day to night — something that works for an afternoon of brunch and shopping, but also for evening dinner and drinks. These brown Ray-Bans are an “iconic shape and forever classic,” shares Tsang, pairing them with a coordinating black tank, shorts, sandals, and a relaxed linen blazer. “These [frames] will never go out of style. They are the best for adventurous summer days.”

Luxury, redefined. This self-proclaimed “downtown girl look,” with a white padded-shoulder shirt dress, low pointed-toe heels, and a black mini bag, isn’t complete without a pair of orange-lensed Versace sunglasses. “I’m a huge fan of tinted lenses because they have a vintage look and scream ‘summer,’” she says. “More importantly, people can see my full expressions through my eyes.”

“Cat-eyes make every outfit edgier and balance things out,” says Tsang, who styles her Prada shades with a high-neck open-back top, loose-fitting khakis, and a casual pair of sneakers for a variety of occasions — beach days, casual hikes, even coffee runs. The subtle mix of colors — the frame is black, the temples are tortoise — plays off of the neutral gray, white, and tan of the look. Plus, this outfit, as Tsang says, is “an opportunity to show some skin in an elevated way.”
