Of all the bags that Carrie Bradshaw carried throughout the years, the Fendi Baguette purse remains the most memorable. The iconic style, which first appeared in the infamous robbery scene from Season 3 of Sex and the City, is as symbolic and recognizable as the character’s blue Manolo Blahnik heels. ICYMI, the accessory made a comeback in the first season of And Just Like That..., and now, once again, it has reemerged for Season 2. In newly released paparazzi photos, Sarah Jessica Parker carried her sequin Fendi Baguette bag while on set on Jan. 9.

If you’re an avid fan of And Just Like That..., you’ll know that Carrie owns several iterations of the coveted bag — including a purple sequin style that Sex and the City enthusiasts could shop back in 2021. The shimmery pink option, however, is extra special as it was designed in collaboration with Parker herself. Much like the purple version, the style takes after the original silhouette from Fendi’s Fall/Winter 1999/2000 collection. (The cult-favorite design was one of the most queried items in 2021 and 2022.) The pink Baguette is adorned with large, fuchsia 3D sequins and finished with Bordeaux leather straps, as well as the iconic FF buckle.

Now, for those who didn’t catch the sartorial easter egg the first time around: Carrie’s pink sequin Baguette first appeared in Season 1 episode 9 of the Sex and the City reboot. The character carried the iconic Fendi bag to a dinner date with her friend and real estate agent Seema Patel, teaming it with a camel-hued blazer and a white dress with floral appliqué down the side. For her Jan. 9 outfit though, she styled it into a much more colorful ensemble. She rocked a slinky jumpsuit in a matching pink hue, a roomy forest green topper, and a pair of metallic green pumps.

Fendi made Parker’s exact fuchsia purse available for purchase back in February 2022 and it has since sold out, as one would expect. For those who want to get their hands on a sequin Baguette though, opt for one of the similar and equally as splurge-worthy options in TZR’s edit, ahead.
