Ina Garten’s husband, Jeffrey, accidentally sent NSFW text to her publicist

Ina Garten’s husband, Jeffrey Garten, once sent a NSFW text to the Barefoot Contessa’s publicist by mistake.

Ina, 74, recalled on a “The Drew Barrymore Show” episode airing next Monday that the economist, 76, wrote in the message, “You’re gonna be delicious tonight.”

The TV cook also shared her publicist and longtime friend’s hilarious response: “I don’t think this was meant for me.”

When Drew Barrymore asked Ina whether her publicist “turned bright red,” the Food Network personality replied, “I didn’t see it, but I imagine so.”

The couple have been married since 1968, and Ina told Page Six exclusively in March that Jeffrey is “pretty fabulous” and “extraordinary.”

Jeffrey Garten accidentally sent a NSFW text meant for Ina Garten to the cook’s publicist.

She gushed, “He’s positive and supportive and happy and smart and has the biggest heart of anybody I’ve ever known. He’s just adorable. So, I got really lucky.”

Emily Blunt, Meghan Markle and more celebrities have credited Ina’s “engagement chicken” with helping them snag their own husbands.

“I just made something that I knew he would love,” the “Girl on the Train” star, 39, said of John Krasinski in a 2021 episode of the “River Cafe Table 4” podcast. “That’s it — all it took!”

As for Markle, the “Suits” alum, 41, also made the recipe before Prince Harry got down on one knee in 2017.

“I do know that she liked to cook my roast chicken, which we call ‘engagement chicken’ because whenever you make it, somebody asks you to marry them,” Ina told Willie Geist on the “Today” show in 2018.

The “Sunday Today” host replied, “So what we’re driving at here is you were responsible for the royal wedding.”
